Marnae is a native of S. Louis, MO. In 2014 she completed her Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family Studies with a minor in Leadership Development at the University of Missouri. After graduating, Marnae joined the Teach for America- Houston Corps and served as a fifth grade science teacher.
After completing her Teach for America commitment, Marnae moved to the United Arab Emirates and taught secondary science in Abu Dhabi City. While completing her Masters of Education in Secondary Science from John Hopkins University in 2017, Marnae found it was no easy feat adapting to the shifting time zones and working full-time. These woes inspired Marnae to take control of her health, wellness and organization. It was then Marnae decided to build her Wellness Company.
First, she developed the time management and stationery portion of the company that allowed consumers to design their schedules based on their time commitments and goals. Marnae then traveled to Rishkesh, India to study Hatha Yoga and meditation, she received her 200hr-RYT certification from Samadhi Yoga Ashram and began teaching yoga to young professionals in Abu Dhabi. Since then Marnae has been sharing the CHAMA Method which she created to help her to graduate from University, graduate school, start her business and travel the world. Marnae believes that having systems in place to complete your goals allows a type of peace that is helpful in times of turmoil and stress. She is an advocate for self-care and holistic health in wellness. Marnae specializes in helping young professionals, specifically teachers manage their time and create routines that align with their goals in life.
